MuseWiki, wiki for the band Muse
Hey all.
Im quite new to Musewiki, so if I do anything wrong, please correct me.
I've been a fan of Muse since late 2007, when I got my first bass guitar. Muse is my primary reason for playing the bass, and hopefully I'll master the art of Wolstenholme-ism. Im quite amateur at the bass as I'm self taught with no guidance at all (other than Muse, of course) so I can't do anything special. Currently I can play the basslines for (properly, with right speed and rhythm) Hysteria, Starlight, Plug In Baby, and Supermassive Black Hole. I've really only gotten into playing the bass since last month (October 2008), so I'm pretty newb. If you have any suggestions to what songs I might enjoy playing the bass to, or got any tips to actually playing the bass, please tell me, it will be greatly appreciated.
Also, I have noticed the lack of Bass (Yes, I use a capital letter for the word 'Bass') tabs for various songs in MuseWiki, so hopefully I will try to improve it by contributing tabs, but this would probably have to wait until 2009 as this year I am restricted by being in a boarding school. Which really sucks in some ways, but i'll be a free man by next year :D
Thanks, Musewiki
Personal Information
Well, I'm 14 years of age at the moment, I live in New Zealand, and I currently live in a boarding school but that would change with the arrival of 2009. I'm of Korean ethnicity, but I can barely speak Korean and I'm really much more like a Kiwi. And I've already posted that I'm really getting into playing the Bass Guitar to learn the Art of Wolstenholme-ism, but other than that I play a bit of drums, the alto saxophone, I used to play the flute but it pissed me off, so I quit. I don't even know anything about my Bass Guitar though really, I got if from Rockshop for $150 second-hand. I use a crappy old bass amp, but I'm satisfied :D
And also I'm quite keen on improving MuseWiki, just because of the lack of Wolstenholme-ism, and how Matt Bellamy holds all the attention of the people of MuseWiki. Chris deserves some respect!
