Matthew Bellamy has used a Jackson guitar once whilst performing live. It is believed[by whom?] that it is a Randy Rhoads model and is customised in some way.
This guitar was used by Bellamy for Stockholm Syndrome inside M.E.N. Arena, Manchester, on the 11th of November 2006. After the song and its appended outro, he threw it into the audience. The guitar was subsequently taken from the audience by a security guard and never seen again.
